Clazel Ticket Window

Three of us (Tom and Susie Baker Hoane and Tom Claflin) met with the owner of the Clazel on Thursday, June 9th.  More on that in a moment.
First, as one who has not been back to BG much in the past few years, I have to say that I think the town is to be proud of.  Tidy, clean and looking cared for.  I can see why it might be on a list of ten best places in the country to raise a family.    http://www.livability.com/top-10/families/10-best-places-to-raise-a-family/2016/oh/bowling-green
Secondly, the renovation of the Clazel itself is really something.  The owner actually lived in the dressing room for six months while he contracted all the renovation including six hours and multiple drillbits boring through the 30 inch concrete walls, over $100,000 repairing the plaster and more refinishing all the old woodwork, etc.  He spent over an hour with us working with all our questions and options and I was very impressed with his community oriented spirit.  It's a really nice venue. Worth seeing and our evening there should be great fun.
