I went to BGHS from the end of my freshman year until the end of my senior year. Due to family issues I had to move to Pemberville, where I graduated. I went to BGSU for a year and moved to AZ, then Houston, went to UHou and worked for an oil company and a large construction company (Bechtel) They moved me to CA where I moved into HR Systems and worked as an analyst. I stayed in CA for many years and worked for Wells Fargo Bank until I retired and moved to Asheville, NC. I have been married for almost 30 years to a wonderful man, a teacher and coach.  I have a daughter that lives in Houston and a 16 yr old granddaughter (love of my life). I am looking forward to seeing all of you. Although many of you won't remember me and my pictures are not in the year book, I hope we can get to know each other now. Sandra

Life has certainly rushed by, hasn't it?  After 41 years, I retired from dentistry about a year ago.  It was a good fit for my personality and abilities and I suppose we all wonder a bit about "what ifs", but I have no regrets.  Running marathons got me off the couch after the kids left home and has given me some good friendships. I married Chris Anders, BGHS Class of '68 in 1974 and we have three biological kids, one adopted and 6 grandkids.  As far as life since high school....  Now, I'm spending time running, beekeeping, traveling, cottaging at our Canadian place, video editing and with family.  In hopes of having a good time with a bunch of my old classmates at our reunion,  I'm putting together a music video/movie mashup for the meetup.  If you'd like to suggest something for it, please contact me.
And please take the time to fill out this little classmates info spot, so it can get posted, too.  Thanks

Hello '66ers!
I am so looking forward to our 50th reunion!  Our 45th was wonderful and I know that this one will be even better.  In 2005, I retired from Adrian Schools after 32 years of teaching and administration.  I loved my job but I honestly do not miss it!  Too much red tape!

On August 7, 2015, I was diagnosed with breast cancer --- 15 days after our daughter had been diagnosed with the same thing.  Talk about rocking our world!!  I am happy to say that after surgery to remove the cancer, four chemo treatments (yes, of course I lost my hair!) and 20 very intense radiation treatments, I am cancer-free!  And, even better, daughter Sarah is cancer-free after surgery, chemo and radiation.  We are so blessed and so grateful!

In the 'now' photo, those two good looking kids with me are our grandchildren, Noah (a freshman in high school) and Dorrie (a 5th grader).  They are and will always be the sunshine of my life!

I'm really looking forward tyo seeing everyone at the reunion.  After I received my degree in geology from BGSU I went off to Arizona for my masters.  I spent the better part of a decade working in industry and 31 years working for Uncle Sam.  I married Suzanne Rectenwald the week after BGSU graduation in 1970 but it only lasted 3 years.  I have been with Darlene for 42 years.  We have lived in Colorado since 1975.

Due to distance and school schedules, I've never been able to attend reunions until this one.  Now that I'm retired, it's fun to have the freedom to make the trip!  (And, as an added bonus, our kids and grandkids live in Chicago and Ann Arbor so we can do some family visits, too.) After HS I attended St. Olaf College in MN, then went on for a master's degree at U of WI/Madison where I met John, who has been my husband for 44 years.  We lived for a year each in Stoughton, WI and Tulsa, OK before settling in Brookings, SD where we raised a daughter and a son, John was a history professor at SDSU, and I was an elementary school counselor.  I love to walk, bike, garden, read, learn, and volunteer so life is full of happy experiences.

Looking forward to the reunion.  We should have lots of stories to tell and remininisce about the High School days.
